Adine Momoh is a trial attorney in the firm’s complex business and commercial litigation division, focusing her practice on the areas of securities litigation, banking litigation, estates and trusts litigation, and creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. Adine’s clients include banks, credit unions, health care providers and insurance companies, medical gas providers, natural gas pipeline businesses, franchisees, non-for-profit entities and other businesses and individuals, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging entrepreneurs.
Adine has experience representing clients in various aspects of litigation before states and federal courts across the country, from case development and strategy, to discovery, to motion practice, to trial, to appeal. Regarding her bankruptcy practice specifically, Adine regularly represents clients in matters involving cash collateral, DIP financing, 363 sales, plan confirmation, claim and administrative expense resolution and defense, fraudulent conveyance, preferential transfers and other avoidance actions. Adine is also committed to providing pro bono legal service as evidenced by her receipt of the firm’s 2013 Pro Bono Service to the Indigent Award and her work with the firm’s Legal Clinic, the Federal Bar Association’s Pro Se Project, and the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender.
Before joining Leonard, Street and Deinard (a predecessor of the firm) as an associate, Adine worked there as a summer associate in 2007 and 2008. She also served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jeanne J. Graham of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota at Judge Graham’s personal request.
