Jeanne Kildow, Attorney, a native of Minnesota graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelors degree in Spanish Language and Literature. She received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, where she was a George Moscone Scholar and served on staff of the Hastings Law Journal. Ms. Kildow is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Since 1991, Ms. Kildow has represented clients and advised employers, physicians, academia, health care facilities, small and large businesses, and families on immigration-related matters. She has been with the Borene Law Firm continuously since 1995 with the exception of a couple of years at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic as Mayo Clinic’s first in-house Immigration Attorney and Director of its International Personnel Office. While at the Mayo Clinic, she advised clinical and research staff and allied health personnel on immigration-related legal matters. Prior to joining the Borene Law Firm, Ms. Kildow was an attorney with the law firm of Maun & Simon in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to immigration law, Ms. Kildow has a background in business law, litigation, employment law and health care law. Prior to law school, she was a paraprofessional in the medical field, and she maintains a life-long interest in healthcare-related matters
Ms. Kildow has been a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association for over 20 years. She is a past Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Minnesota Supreme Court and is authorized by federal law and regulation to represent clients before all U.S. immigration courts and offices worldwide.
She assists individuals, employers, and families located throughout the U.S. and around the world with U.S. (inbound) and global (outbound) immigration matters.
