Todd Phelps focuses his practice in real estate law, where he assists developers, property owners, tenants and financial institutions in acquiring, developing, constructing, financing, leasing and selling commercial real estate, including office, retail, industrial, assisted living/nursing homes, religious, mixed-use and multifamily properties. Todd has significant experience in the area of consumer finance regulations.
Todd is an active leader and volunteer in the firm’s pro bono Deinard Legal Clinic and has been honored with the firm’s Pro Bono Service to the Indigent Award for his dedication to pro bono service.
Prior to joining Stinson Leonard Street LLP, he was a judicial clerk for the Honorable James C. Harten of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Before attending law school, he served as a captain in the U.S. Army.
